Player Props: Week 13
Four seems to be my magic, or should I say tragic, number. After missing out on four of my five recommendations in Week 10, I reversed course in Week 11 and hit on four of my five bets, only to miss out on four of my Week 12 suggestions. My season record is now dangerously close to .500 with 36 wins and 32 losses. I’m back on my redemption tour this week. Here’s five more player prop bets that I like this week, and that I’m willing to share with you.
Please remember that gambling is super risky and you should only use funds that you can afford to lose.
A.J. Brown, WR Philadelphia Eagles
Over 88.5 receiving yards
Brown faces the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13 and they have been bad at defending against the pass all season. They entered Week 13 having given up the most receiving yards to WRs. As this article is being written DeVonta Smith’s Week 13 status is questionable due to a hamstring injury. Brown will be QB Jalen Hurts’ go to option in the passing game today.
Drake London, WR Atlanta Falcons
Over 64.5 receiving yards
London’s Week 13 opponent, the Los Angeles Chargers, have also had difficulties defending against the pass. They’ve given up the second most receiving yards to WRs over the past five weeks. London has been dealing with a hip injury but by the end of the week was a full participant in practice.
Joe Mixon, RB Houston Texans
Over 82.5 rushing yards
Mixon has a favorable matchup and a good chance for a potential bounce back game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13. The Jags are giving up 4.80 YPC to RBs in their last four games. After only rushing for 22 yards in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans, Mixon should be able to get his 2024 back on track with a big game against the Jags.
Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Over 80.5 rushing yards
Williams has been hot lately rushing for 4.78 YPC in his last three games. He has a good matchup against the New Orleans Saints who have given up just over 5 YPC to RBs this season. Williams rushed for 104 yards and he scored a rushing TD against the Saints in his last meeting with them in Week 16 of last season.
Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints
Over 4.5 receptions
Let’s keep it in New Orleans where Kamara has a very good matchup against the Rams. Over their last three games the Rams are giving up 5.54 YPC and the fourth most receptions (16) to RBs. Kamara loves playing the Rams and has averaged 4.74 YPC in five career games against them. You might also want to check out his rushing yards prop as well (O/U 64.5 rushing yards).
