2023 NFL Draft Recap: Baltimore Ravens

The 2023 NFL Draft has concluded after months of scrutiny about these prospects, potential landing spots, team and scheme fits, and so on. Now we get to start the entire process all over again now that we have team landing spots for these college prospects with their new NFL teams.

Today, we tackle the Baltimore Ravens and how they fared in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Baltimore's 2023 NFL Draft Selections:

  • Round 1, Pick 22 - Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College
  • Round 3, Pick 86 - Trenton Simpson, LB, Clemson
  • Round 4, Pick 124 - Tavius Robinson, EDGE, Mississippi
  • Round 5, Pick 157 - Kyu Blu Kelly, CB, Stanford
  • Round 6, Pick 199 - Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, OT, Oregon
  • Round 7, Pick 229 - Andrew Vorhees, G, USC

The 2023 Fantasy Football Impact:

The biggest news right before the NFL Draft was Baltimore making Lamar Jackson the highest-paid player in the NFL. With the significant investment in Jackson out of the way, the Ravens wasted no time in outfitting their marquee player with the best wide receiver corps of his young career. Before the draft, Baltimore signed Odell Beckham, Jr. and Nelson Agholor, then added Zay Flowers with 2021 first-round pick Rashod Bateman. The hope is that anything should be better than last season's abysmal 248 slot receiving yards (32nd), and Flowers should blossom in the slot role in Baltimore. Flowers will be a mid-round target in best-ball formats. Don't be afraid to take a late-round dart throw in redraft, as he may pop early in the season making him a top waiver claim.
