Matchups

Kike Hernandez is 25/50 with 6 doubles and 4 Home Runs with 9 RBI vs Madison Bumgarner.  He’s not getting every day at-bats right now but he should be out there for this one with that type of history.  For what he’ll cost, he will be worth a flier to fill out your roster.

Corey Dickerson is 6/14 with 1 double and 1 triple vs Jake Arrieta.  Dickerson enters the game with a 5 game hitting streak, 4 of those games came with an extra base hit.  He’s hitting better as of late and he gets a comfortable matchup here.

Sonny Gray has held current Cubs to 13/123 with 44 ks to 5 walks.  Back on 7/29 he went 6.2 IP, allowed 1 hit, 1 walk and struck out 11 Cubs hitters.  Last year against essentially the same Cubs team he went 3-1 with a 2.70/0.83 ERA/WHIP combo and 37 ks over 30 innings.  Great matchup, worth the money.

Jurickson Profar is 4/12 with 1 double, 2 triples 1 Home Run and 4 RBI vs Trevor Cahill.  Profar is having a very fine season (get numbers after Wed) and has a respectable .731 OPS vs RHP.

Alex Bregman is 6/20 with 3 Home Runs and 4 RBI plus 5 walks vs Sean Manaea.  Bregman missed 3 weeks with a hamstring injury and his is his first series back.  It’s a very favorable matchup, he destroys LHP with a 1.022 OPS.
