Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 at Martinsville Raceday Picks

Good morning, race fans!  It's time for the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 at Martinsville Speedway! This raceway is a flat short track.  Expect tempers to flare and veterans to shine. At the time of this article's publishing, no penalties are assessed for the start of the race. Follow @DirtyAirFC on Twitter for any starting lineup changes!

The weather looks good for today when the green flag drops at 7:30 pm EST.  Start your engines!

I'll be playing in Draft Kings this week. If you're new to the NASCAR DFS world, here's a quick summary of how scoring is done:

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following:

Start upfront and can potentially lead a lot of laps.

Good drivers starting farther back who can pass a lot of cars and finish with a strong differential.

Drivers starting up front I like:
Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch, Chase Briscoe

Drivers with a great differential potential and could lead laps:
Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski

Drivers with great differential points, and possible top finishes:
Austin Dillon, Ross Chastain, Aric Almirola

Most likely to be chalk plays:
Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott

Drivers who are good at managing tempers and maintaining track positions will be top dogs this week.

Blue-Emu 400 Winner  Chase Elliott
Best Bet for a solid finish  William Byron, Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Busch
Dark Horse Differentiators Aric Almirola, Bubba Wallace
Chalk Plays Chase Elliott, Martin Truex Jr.

This week, I'm rolling out the veterans. Ryan Blaney would also make a great play this week for a differentiator. Here's who I have in my NASCAR Fantasy Live Pool:

Driver Group Game:

This week in the diver group game, I'm looking at a mix of drivers I think can differentiate a bit on the B list. Here's who I have for the week:

One-and-Done Games:

If you are in any one-and-done pools, I'm going with Kurt Busch.  Ryan Blaney is also a solid play. Kyle Busch is a good bet if you're way behind.
