Cookout 400 at Richmond
Good morning, race fans! It's time for the Cookout 400 at Richmond Raceway in Virginia! It's going to be a hot 85 degrees with no chance of rain when the green flag drops. We did see a single practice session, and tire wear was the subject of the day. Richmond can get some long runs so long run speed is key as well as track position.
At the time of this article, AJ Allmandinger is reported to start at the rear after Kraus qualified his car. The weather today will be in the Mid 80s with sunshine and a 5% chance of rain for a 3:00pm start. Start your engines!

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following: Starting up front and can potentially lead lots of laps. Good drivers starting farther back can pass many cars and finish with a strong differential. Drivers starting up front I like for dominator points: Drivers with great differential potential and could lead laps: Drivers with great differential points, and possible top finishes: Most likely to be chalk plays:

It will be very tough to beat the chalk of Christopher Bell and Martin Truex, Jr this week, but the notable starting position of Todd Gilliland and Harrison Burton can help go against the grain and save some salary, as short, flat tracks are their better tracks on the circuit.
