Duramax Drydene 400 at Dover NASCAR Picks

Good morning, race fans!  It's time for the Duramax Drydene at Dover Motor Speedway! This raceway is a concrete, steeply banked 1-mile oval. It can be a slick track, but overcast skies and a later start time may affect this general consensus. It's a track where certain veterans shine and I'll be rolling them out without reservation. There are also several drivers I don't think will finish anywhere near their starting position today.  At the time of this article's publishing, no penalties are assessed for the start of the race. Follow @DirtyAirFC on Twitter for any starting lineup changes!

The weather looks good for this afternoon when the green flag drops at 3:00 pm EST., however rain is forecast to hit around 6 pm, which could shorten the race.  Start your engines!

I'll be playing in Draft Kings this week. If you're new to the NASCAR DFS world, here's a quick summary of how scoring is done:

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following:

Start upfront and can potentially lead a lot of laps.

Good drivers starting farther back who can pass a lot of cars and finish with a strong differential.

Drivers starting up front I like:
Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliott

Drivers with a great differential potential and could lead laps:
Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex, Jr

Drivers with great differential points, and possible top finishes:
Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, William Byron

Most likely to be chalk plays:
William Byron, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin

Drivers who are good at adjusting to changing track conditions and maintaining track position will be the top dogs this week.

Duramax Drydene Winner  Kyle Larson
Best Bet for a solid finish  Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin
Dark Horse Differentiators Ty Dillon, Cole Custer, Harrison Burton
Chalk Plays Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Blaney

My DFS Line-up Today:

DK Chrome Horn 150K

DFS H2H Picks and props:

If you like to get wild, there are a few props that I think are pretty juicy to throw a few bucks at.

FanDuel:  Kevin Harvick Outright +1800, William Byron Outright +1200

BetMGM: Martin Truex Jr. and Christopher Bell to finish top 3 +1600.

Denny Hamlin to be top Toyota, Joey Logano to be top Ford, and Kyle Larson to be top Chevrolet +5000

NASCAR Fantasy Live:
The revamped Fantasy Live game run by NASCAR.com is a free game to win prizes and test your skills at picking drivers with limited starts. Each driver has 10 allocations, a garage slot you can swap with mid-race, and now the ability to choose drivers in head-to-head matchups for bonus points. Play at nascar.com.

This week, I'm rolling out the differentiators. Ryan Blaney would also make a great play this week for a differentiator. Here's who I have in my NASCAR Fantasy Live Pool:

Driver Group Game:

This week in the diver group game, I'm looking at a mix of drivers I think can differentiate a bit on the B list. Here's who I have for the week:

One-and-Done Games:

If you are in any one-and-done pools, I'm going with Ryan Preece.  Chris Buescher is also a solid play. Kevin Harvick is a good bet if you're way behind.
