Echopark Automotive Grand Prix at The Circuit of the Americas

Hello, race fans!  It's time for the Echopark Automotive Grand Prix at The Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas! Our lineups cashed again last week, so let's make more money this week!  The weather looks clear, with temps in the low 70s. The race is slated to begin at 3:30 pm Eastern. This race will offer varying strategies and drivers who may not have winning cars may opt to try to win stage points. Start your engines!

I'll be playing in Draft Kings this week. If you're new to the NASCAR DFS world, here's a quick summary of how scoring is done:

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following:

Starting up front can potentially lead to lots of laps.

Good drivers starting farther back can pass many cars and finish with a strong differential.

Drivers starting up front I like:
Tyler Reddick, William Byron

Drivers with great differential potential and could lead laps:
Alex Bowman, Kyle Larson

Drivers with great differential points and possible top finishes:
Daniel Suarez, Kyle Busch

Most likely to be chalk plays:
Joey Logano, Shane Van Gisbergen, AJ Allmendinger

This week is a nice wide-open slate with several ways to build place differential, as there aren't many laps in the race to build dominator scores.

Race Winner  Tyler Reddick
Best Bet for a solid finish Ty Gibbs, Shane Van Gisbergen, AJ Allmendinger
Dark Horse Differentiators Erik Jones, John Hunter Nemechek

It's going to be hard to beat the chalk of Joey Logano today, but this is a track where a lot of drivers can move through the field to build place differential. I like Ty Gibbs and AJ Allmendinger to finish better than their starting position.

NASCAR Fantasy Live:

The revamped Fantasy Live game run by is a free game to win prizes and test your skills at picking drivers with limited starts. Each driver has ten allocations, a garage slot you can swap with mid-race, and the ability to choose drivers in head-to-head match-ups for bonus points.

I'm rolling with top-road course talent this week. Kamui Kobayashi may also be worth a look, as we don't get many races with him this year. Here's who I have in my NASCAR Fantasy Live Pool this week:

One-and-done Games:

Earlier this year, I wrote about different strategies in "one-and-done" leagues.  This season, I'll lay out some names that fit each strategy throughout the season.  The order I show them is the order I would play them this week.

"Parachute Theory" or "Studs early and often:" Tyler Reddick, Kyle Busch, William Byron

"Steady Hand Theory" Mix of Studs and Mid-pack drivers: Shane Van Gisbergen, AJ Allmendinger, Chris Buescher

"Late Bloomer Strategy" No Studs Early and often: Kamui Kobayashi, Carson Hocevar, Corey LaJoie
