Fighting Chance Fantasy Football Mock #1

On June 14th, Fighting Chance Fantasy conducted our first fantasy football mock draft of the season. The scoring was tradition full point PPR, 4 point for quarterback passing touchdowns and six point for a rushing or receiving touchdown. The roster composition is one quarterback, two running backs, four wide receivers, one tight end, one RB/WR/TE, a kicker and a team defense. The following are the participants, their affiliation, and their Twitter handle. Please follow them all as they are all great fantasy football analysts.

Round 1

Round/Pick Team Player
1.1 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Todd Gurley, RB, Los Angeles Rams
1.2 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Le'Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
1.3 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) David Johnson, RB, Arizona Cardinals
1.4 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys
1.5 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
1.6 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints
1.7 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants
1.8 Autopicker Kareem Hunt, RB, Kansas City Chiefs
1.9 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Houston Texans
1.10 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Melvin Gordon, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
1.11 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Odell Beckham Jr, WR, New York Giants
1.12 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta Falcons

We have some very smart fantasy football friends here at Fighting Chance and when that happens you aren't going to get a lot of surprises early. I honestly can't say that any pick in this round was a reach, and I can understand the reasoning behind any of these picks. A solid way to start the night.

Round 2

Round/Pick Team Player
2.1 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Leonard Fournette, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
2.2 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Michael Thomas, WR, New Orleans Saints
2.3 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Devonta Freeman, RB, Atlanta Falcons
2.4 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Dalvin Cook, RB, Minnesota Vikings
2.5 Autopicker Christian McCaffrey, RB, Carolina Panthers
2.6 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) LeSean McCoy, RB, Buffalo Bills
2.7 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
2.8 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2.9 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Tyreek Hill, WR,Kansas City Chiefs
2.10 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
2.11 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Adam Theilen, WR, Minnesota Vikings
2.12 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers

Doug Anderson gets the absolute steal of the round in my opinion with Dalvin Cook as the 16th overall pick. I love Cook, and if you read my rankings I have him as my fifth running back. To get him in the second round is highway robbery in my book. Now,  I would have a hard time with Christian McCaffrey before McCoy, McKinnon or Howard but it was autopicked. I went with Adam Theilen but if I had an opportunity to go back in time I would have taken Davante Adams first like Matt Okada did after me. All in all a great second round.

Round 3

Round/Pick Team Player
3.1 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Doug Baldwin, WR, Seattle Seahawks
3.2 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Jerick McKinnon, RB, San Francisco 49ers
3.3 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Jordan Howard, RB, Chicago Bears
3.4 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona Cardinals
3.5 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
3.6 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Jay Ajayi, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
3.7 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots
3.8 Autopicker Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City Chiefs
3.9 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers
3.10 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Golden Tate, WR, Detroit Lions
3.11 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Zach Ertz, TE, Philadelphia Eagles
3.12 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) T.Y. Hilton, WR, Indianapolis Colts

Again, to go back in time I would probably change my pick. I love Jerick McKinnon this year, and don't think he is a bad pick in the third round, but I probably would go with Jordan Howard one spot ahead of him. Oh well, I still got a guy I like. Our first quarterback went off the board in Aaron Rodgers to Doug Anderson and three tight ends were selected. That position is top heavy and gets thin quickly, so clearly people acted fast to not get left in the cold with garbage. I was a hair surprised with Steve Rapin's pick of Joe Mixon, but after further review this is about his current ADP. If this kid lives up to potential, this will be a great pick.

Round 4

Round/Pick Team Player
4.1 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Alex Collins, RB, Baltimore Ravens
4.2 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Brandin Cooks, WR, Los Angeles Rams
4.3 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Jarvis Landry, WR, Cleveland Browns
4.4 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Carlos Hyde, RB, Cleveland Browns
4.5 Autopicker Amari Cooper, WR, Oakland Raiders
4.6 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Devin Funchess, WR, Carolina Panthers
4.7 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Demaryius Thomas, WR, Denver Broncos
4.8 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Derrick Henry, RB, Tennessee Titans
4.9 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Allen Robinson, WR, Chicago Bears
4.10 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Juju Smith-Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
4.11 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Deshaun Watson, QB, Houston Texans
4.12 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Josh Gordon, WR, Cleveland Browns

I am announcing that 2018 will be my Summer of Love for Deshaun Watson! I know that some might be scared away by his torn ACL but I am not and was very comfortable taking him here. I often wait on quarterbacks, but I saw him there and I pulled the trigger. Other than that, a lot of wide receivers went. I like the pick of Josh Gordon by Matt Okada. Allen Robinson to Anthony Cervino moved the needle in a good way for me as well. Autopicking Amari Cooper might have been the steal of the round, and  Joe Gallina went with PPR darling Jarvis Landry. Mike Alexander selected Brandin Cooks who I think is going to be a big touchdown maker in 2018.

Round 5

Round/Pick Team Player
5.1 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Sony Michel, RB, New England Patriots
5.2 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Kenyan Drake, RB, Miami Dolphins
5.3 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Russell Wilson, QB, Seattle Seahawks
5.4 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Derrius Guice, RB, Washington Redskins
5.5 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Stefon Diggs, WR, Minnesota Vikings
5.6 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Rashaad Penny, RB, Seattle Seahawks
5.7 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Marvin Jones, WR, Detroit Lions
5.8 Autopicker Jordan Reed, TE, Washington Redskins
5.9 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Alshon Jeffery, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
5.10 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Pierre Garcon, WR, San Francisco 49ers
5.11 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Dion Lewis, RB, Tennessee Titans
5.12 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams

Round 5 was full of running backs in the first half and wide receivers on the back end. I went with Kenyan Drake who I think is going to have a good year. Three rookies went in this round with Sony Michel to Matt Okada, Derrius Guice to Anthony Cervino and Rashaad Penny to Rachel Wold. Michel and Guice both have some competition for usage but have some question marks, and Penny will run behind a swiss cheese offensive line. All three rookies though have a world of potential and I like them all. Steve Rapin probably had the best pick of the round when he took Stefon Diggs who I think will have another great season. The other I really liked in PPR leagues was Pierre Garcon who should be better than last year now that Jimmy Garoppolo is the quarterback.

Round 6

Round/Pick Team Player
6.1 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Tevin Coleman, RB, Atlanta Falcons
6.2 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Will Fuller, WR, Houston Texans
6.3 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Michael Crabtree, WR, Baltimore Ravens
6.4 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Jimmy Graham, TE, Green Bay Packers
6.5 Autopicker Ronald Jones II, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
6.6 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Marshawn Lynch, RB, Oakland Raiders
6.7 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Marquise Goodwin, WR, San Francisco 49ers
6.8 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Corey Davis, WR, Tennessee Titans
6.9 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Isaiah Crowell, RB, New York Jets
6.10 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Jordy Nelson, WR, Oakland Raiders
6.11 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Allen Hurns, WR, Dallas Cowboys
6.12 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Jamison Crowder, WR, Washington Redskins

Round 6 wasn't exactly the most exciting of the draft. I went with Allen Hurns who I think has to be the main guy thrown to in Dallas. Patrick Wisniewski selected Jordy Nelson who will be a very interesting player this year to see if he can return to form. Rachel Wold picked Marquise Goodwin who was one of the more surprising players last year. Can he repeat? I think so. Autodrafter took Ronald Jones II who I like to get the majority of carries in Tampa as a rookie. Doug Anderson selected Jimmy Graham who is a very talented tight end, but we will find out if Green Bay is the ideal landing place. Joe Gallina goes with PPR stud Michael Crabtree in his new home in Baltimore. Finally, Jen Smith took Tevin Coleman who is a very exciting back in Atlanta who has added value in PPR leagues.

Round 7

Round/Pick Team Player
7.1 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Mark Ingram, RB, New Orleans Saints
7.2 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Evan Engram, TE, New York Giants
7.3 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers
7.4 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Trey Burton, TE, Chicago Bears
7.5 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Greg Olsen, TE, Carolina Panthers
7.6 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings
7.7 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Nelson Agholor, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
7.8 Autopicker Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers
7.9 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Lamar Miller, RB, Houston Texans
7.10 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Delanie Walker, TE, Tennessee Titans
7.11 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
7.12 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Sammy Watkins, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Round 7 was the round of the tight end. I started it with Evan Engram, Anthony Cervino went with Trey Burton, Steve Rapin followed with Greg Olsen, Rachel Wold selected Kyle Rudolph and Joe Gallina finished the run with Delanie Walker. All are starting fantasy tight ends. I do like Olsen a little better than Burton, but I do expect both to be very good. Engram is one of the tight ends I love the most this year. Matt Okada took his first of two consecutive suspended players in Mark Ingram. Assuming Ingram stays out of the doghouse when he returns, this will be a nice gift come Week 5. Jim Day took Philly's top receiver in Nelson Agholor. He took a nice step forward last year and could be a tremendous seventh round pick.

Round 8

Round/Pick Team Player
8.1 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Denver Broncos
8.2 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) C.J. Anderson, RB, Carolina Panthers
8.3 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Royce Freeman, RB, Denver Broncos
8.4 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Mohamed Sanu, WR, Atlanta Falcons
8.5 Autopicker Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions
8.6 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Randall Cobb, WR, Green Bay Packers
8.7 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
8.8 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) DeVante Parker, WR, Miami Dolphins
8.9 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Rex Burkhead, RB, New England Patriots
8.10 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams
8.11 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Sterling Shepard, WR, New York Giants
8.12 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Julian Edelman, WR, New England Patriots

I know industry folks tend to wait on quarterbacks, but I can't believe that Tom Brady lasted until the eighth round! I know Julian Edelman is gonna miss four games, but Rachel Wold got a steal here. He could be the top overall quarterback this year. I don't have him ranked there, but he could be. I'm a big fan of Joe Gallina's pick of Royce Freeman there as I think he will lead the team in carries. Randall Cobb should be a PPR dream for Jim Day with Jordy Nelson out of Green Bay. I went with Sterling Shepard who I think is in for a very solid year as the Giants second receiver. Julian Edelman finished the round. He is going to be suspended for the first four games, but that still leaves plenty of time for him to be productive. And in a PPR format, he should still have a good year.

Round 9

Round/Pick Team Player
9.1 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers
9.2 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Cameron Meredith, WR, Chicago Bears
9.3 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Dez Bryant, WR, Free Agent
9.4 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) D.J. Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers
9.5 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Chris Thompson, RB, Washington Redskins
9.6 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Nick Chubb, RB, Cleveland Browns
9.7 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Marlon Mack, RB, Indianapolis Colts
9.8 Autopicker Robby Anderson, WR, New York Jets
9.9 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Buffalo Bills
9.10 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Tarik Cohen, RB, Chicago Bears
9.11 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Devontae Booker, RB, Denver Broncos
9.12 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) DeSean Jackson, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

George Kittle was a solid choice at tight end now that the position has gotten pretty thin. I went with Cam Meredith who is now the number two receiver in New Orleans and I think is in for a sneaky good season in his new home, indoors, with a great quarterback. First round draft pick DJ Moore was taken by Anthony Cervino. Some think that he has a chance to be the best receiver on the team by midseason, although they don't really have great receivers. Chris Thompson was a great value in this round as long as he is healthy. He is a great third down back and pass catcher for the Redskins offense. Marlon Mack went to Jim Day as possibly the last starting running back has gone off the board. Joe Gallina is hoping that Tarik Cohen can continue to eat into Jordan Howard's work now that the Bears brought in a coach that likes to throw to the running back.

Round 10

Round/Pick Team Player
10.1 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Kerryon Johnson, RB, Detroit Lions
10.2 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Minnesota Vikings D/ST
10.3 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Quincy Enunwa, WR, New York Jets
10.4 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Jermaine Kearse, WR, New York Jets
10.5 Autopicker Duke Johnson, RB, Cleveland Browns
10.6 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans Saints
10.7 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Calvin Ridley, WR, Atlanta Falcons
10.8 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Theo Riddick, RB, Detroit Lions
10.9 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Paul Richardson, WR, Washington Redskins
10.10 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Jamaal Williams, RB, Green Bay Packers
10.11 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Dede Westbrook, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
10.12 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Nyheim Hines, RB, Indianapolis Colts

I downgraded Drew Brees in my rankings some this year, but for Jim Day to get him in the 10th round is incredible value. Three rookies went this round with Nyheim Hines, Calvin Ridley, and Kerryon Johnson. Hines likely needs an injury to Marlon Mack to get full time carries, but he should have a role either way. Kerryon is also in a crowded backfield in Detroit but is the most talented. Calvin Ridley goes to a pass first offense, but is looking like the number three receiver on the team. Joe Gallina went with Quincy Enunwa who is returning from a neck injury but could be the Jets number one. Two pass catching backs were taken in Duke Johnson and Theo Riddick, both who carry extra value in PPR leagues. Finally, Patrick Wisniewski went with Jamaal Williams who is a handcuff for Aaron Jones who Pat took several rounds earlier. Hopefully Green Bay will give us a clear number one back so we know who to rely on.

Round 11

Round/Pick Team Player
11.1 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Jameis Winston, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11.2 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) James White, RB, New England Patriots
11.3 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Martavis Bryant, WR, Oakland Raiders
11.4 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings
11.5 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Andrew Luck, QB, Indianapolis Colts
11.6 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
11.7 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Bilal Powell, RB, New York Jets
11.8 Autopicker D'Onta Foreman, RB, Houston Texans
11.9 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Adam Humphries, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11.10 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons
11.11 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Kenny Golladay, WR, Detroit Lions
11.12 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Albert Wilson, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

For me, Anthony Cervino wins this round with the pick of Kirk Cousins. He waits 11 rounds to pick a quarterback and to me gets a guy who is a near lock to be a top ten fantasy quarterback.  Awesome pick. This draft was done before the looming news that Martavis Bryant might be looking at a suspension from the league, so if this was an actual league instead of a mock, Patrick Wisniewski would be holding his breath. I took James White hoping maybe he takes over for what Dion Lewis did last year for the Pats. And I am a big fan of Mike Alexander picking Kenny Golladay. He showed some flashes of what he is capable of last year and could be a much bigger factor in the Lions offense this year.

Round 12

Round/Pick Team Player
12.1 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers
12.2 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Rishard Matthews, WR, Tennessee Titans
12.3 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Chris Hogan, WR, New England Patriots
12.4 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, San Francisco 49ers
12.5 Autopicker Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys
12.6 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks
12.7 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Philadelphia Eagles D/ST
12.8 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
12.9 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) DeMarco Murray, RB, Free Agent
12.10 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Jacksonville Jaguars D/ST
12.11 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Jared Goff, QB, Los Angeles Rams
12.12 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Kenny Stills, WR, Miami Dolphins

For those of you who choose to wait on a quarterback, your argument for doing that shows in Round 12. Four really good quarterbacks went this round, and all could end up being top ten at the position. Jared Goff, Patrick Mahomes, Jimmy Garoppolo and Ben Roethlisberger all made it this far and are great picks. Joe Gallina went with Chris Hogan this round who I think will be a great selection this year on the Patriots. A couple more defenses went as well as we are seeing them go slightly earlier than usual in this draft. Will this be a trend?

Round 13

Round/Pick Team Player
13.1 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
13.2 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Los Angeles Rams D/ST
13.3 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Mike Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
13.4 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Los Angeles Chargers D/ST
13.5 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Josh Doctson, WR, Washington Redskins
13.6 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Tyrell Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
13.7 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Marqise Lee, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
13.8 Autopicker Keelan Cole, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
13.9 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Jack Doyle, TE, Indianapolis Colts
13.10 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Philip Rivers, QB, Los Angeles Chargers
13.11 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Ty Montgomery, RB, Green Bay Packers
13.12 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) O.J. Howard, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

There were some great 13th round picks. I went with the Rams defense which has been good for years and then added more pieces this offseason. Fighting Chance "brothers" Steve and Patrick took receivers with big potential in Josh Doctson and Mike Williams. Time will tell if these pay off. I liked Rachel Wold's pick of Tyrell Williams. Jim Day's pick of Marqise Lee also looks good. And Doug Anderson grabs PPR machine Jack Doyle . Joe Gallina took a QB that has a good chance of finishing in the top ten in the position in Philip Rivers super late, and Jen Smith took one of my favorite later tight ends in O.J. Howard. These late rounds is where you win your draft and these folks really knocked it out of the park.

Round 14

Round/Pick Team Player
14.1 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Denver Broncos D/ST
14.2 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) LeGarrette Blount, RB, Detroit Lions
14.3 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Houston Texans D/ST
14.4 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) New Orleans Saints D/ST
14.5 Autopicker Stephen Gostkowski, K, New England Patriots
14.6 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Greg Zuerlein, K, Los Angeles Rams
14.7 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Justin Tucker, K, Baltimore Ravens
14.8 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) New England Patriots D/ST
14.9 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Harrison Butker, K, Kansas City Chiefs
14.10 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Jake Butt, TE, Denver Broncos
14.11 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals
14.12 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Baltimore Ravens D/ST

The last two rounds bring mostly kickers and defenses, and I am not going to take time to break those down. Rachel Wold definitely got the two best quarterback values of this draft with Tom Brady in the eighth round, and Derek Carr in the 15th. I expect a nice rebound from Carr under new coach Jon Gruden.

Round 15

Round/Pick Team Player
15.1 Matt Okada, Redshirts Fantasy Football Podcast (@fantasysensei Chris Boswell, K, Pittsburgh Steelers
15.2 Ryan Hallam, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fightingchance) Wil Lutz, K, New Orleans Saints
15.3 Patrick Wisniewski, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@polkapat) Matt Prater, K, Detroit Lions
15.4 Anthony Cervino, Gridiron Experts (@therealNFLguru) Brandon Marshall, WR, Seattle Seahawks
15.5 Steve Rapin, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasygeek37) Matt Bryant, K, Atlanta Falcons
15.6 Rachel Wold, Sportsnaut (@liveocgirl) Derek Carr, QB, Oakland Raiders
15.7 Jim Day, Fighting Chance Fantasy (@fantasytaz) Seattle Seahawks D/ST
15.8 Autopicker Kansas City Chiefs D/ST
15.9 Doug Anderson, Fantrax (@rotodaddy) Jake Elliott, K, Philadelphia Eagles
15.10 Joe Gallina, RotoExperts (@joegallina) Robbie Gould, K, San Francisco 49ers
15.11 Mike Alexander, Friends With Fantasy Benefits (@roto_wan) Ryan Succop, K, Tennessee Titans
15.12 Jen Smith, The Fantasy Authority (@TheOnlyJenSmith) Adam Vinatieri, K, Indianapolis Colts
