Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Race Day DFS Preview

Good morning, race fans!  It's time for the Quik Trip FOH 500. Qualifying was set by points and performance of the season's first races due to Friday's weather. Practice yesterday featured big pack racing, bump drafting, and some close calls. Position differential will be huge today and there will be superspeedway-like chaos!

No cars are reported to start at the rear.  The weather looks good for when the green flag drops at 3:00EST today.  Start your engines!

I'll be playing in Draft Kings this week. If you're new to the NASCAR DFS world, here's a quick summary of how scoring is done:

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following:

Start upfront and can potentially lead a lot of laps.

Good drivers starting farther back can pass a lot of cars and finish with a strong differential.

Drivers starting up front I like:
Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, Aric Almirola

Drivers with a great differential potential and could lead laps:
Austin Cindric, Chase Elliott

Drivers with great differential points, and possible top finishes:
Corey Lajoie, Ricky Stenhouse Jr

Most likely to be chalk plays:
Kyle Larson, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

Embrace the Chaos this week.  Go heavy on the pass differential and lighter on laps led as I believe pretty much anyone can lead laps this week.

Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Winner  Ryan Blaney
Best Bet for a solid finish Ricky Stenhouse, Jr, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney
Dark Horse Differentiators Corey Lajoie, Austin Cindric, Michael McDowell
Chalk Plays Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

My DFS Line-up Today:

DK Chrome Horn 150K

DFS H2H Picks and props:

If you like to get wild, there are a few props that I think are pretty juicy to throw a few bucks at.

Fanduel:  Bubba Wallace top 3 finish +650, Corey Lajoie top 10 finish +650

BetMGM: Kevin Harvick and Aric Almirola to both finish top 5 +1400, Kurt Busch top Toyota, Blaney Top Ford, and Alex Bowman Top Chevrolet +20000

NASCAR Fantasy Live:
The revamped Fantasy Live game run by is a free game to win prizes and test your skills at picking drivers with limited starts. Each driver has 10 allocations, a garage slot you can swap with mid-race, and now the ability to choose drivers in head-to-head matchups for bonus points. Play at

It's a great week to save some starts on top drivers. With Bell, Briscoe, and Reddick all showing well, I have them in with Kyle Busch in the garage as a swap candidate. Here's who I have in my NASCAR Fantasy Live Pool this week:

Driver Group Game:

I'm starting a mix of drivers I think will finish well in this format. Any of these four can contend for the win this week.  Here's who I have for the week:

One-and-done Games:

If you are in any one-and-done pools, I'm going with Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. Bubba Wallace, and Harrison Burton could be great picks as well.  Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex, Jr. look to be fast, solid cars if you're way behind.
