Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway Picks

Good afternoon, race fans!  It's time for the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway! This raceway is a progressively-banked dirt oval. The surface will go through several changes as the race progresses, so I expect a lot of passing points. This is a love/hate situation with dirt, and some veterans are squarely in the hate camp here. At the time of this article's publishing, no penalties are assessed for the start of the race. Follow @DirtyAirFC on Twitter for any starting lineup changes!

The weather looks good for tonight when the green flag drops at 7:00 pm EST., however rain is forecast to hit anytime after 9 pm, which could shorten the race.  Start your engines!

NASCAR DFS

I'll be playing in Draft Kings this week. If you're new to the NASCAR DFS world, here's a quick summary of how scoring is done:

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following:

Start upfront and can potentially lead a lot of laps.

Good drivers starting farther back who can pass a lot of cars and finish with a strong differential.

Drivers starting up front I like:
Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Cole Custer

Drivers with a great differential potential and could lead laps:
Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, Ty Dillon

Drivers with great differential points, and possible top finishes:
Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Daniel Suarez, William Byron

Most likely to be chalk plays:
Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Blaney

Drivers who are good at adjusting to changing track conditions and maintaining track position will be the top dogs this week.

Food City Dirt Race Winner  Christopher Bell
Best Bet for a solid finish  Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano
Dark Horse Differentiators Ty Dillon, Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
Chalk Plays Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Blaney

My DFS Line-up Today:

DK Chrome Horn 150K

DFS H2H Picks and props:

If you like to get wild, there are a few props that I think are pretty juicy to throw a few bucks at.

Fanduel:  Martin Truex Jr. Outright +2400, William Byron Outright +1700

BetMGM: Martin Truex Jr. and Christopher Bell to finish top 3 +1600.

Christopher Bell to be top Toyota, Ryan Blaney to be top Ford, and William Byron to be top Chevrolet +10000

NASCAR Fantasy Live:
The revamped Fantasy Live game run by NASCAR.com is a free game to win prizes and test your skills at picking drivers with limited starts. Each driver has 10 allocations, a garage slot you can swap with mid-race, and now the ability to choose drivers in head-to-head matchups for bonus points. Play at nascar.com.

This week, I'm rolling out the differentiators. Ryan Blaney would also make a great play this week for a differentiator. Here's who I have in my NASCAR Fantasy Live Pool:

Driver Group Game:

This week in the diver group game, I'm looking at a mix of drivers I think can differentiate a bit on the B list. Here's who I have for the week:

One-and-Done Games:

If you are in any one-and-done pools, I'm going with Ty Dillon.  Cole Custer is also a solid play. Christopher Bell is a good bet if you're way behind.
