Goodyear 400 At Darlington

Good morning, race fans!  It's time for the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Speedway in South Carolina!  It's going to be a hot 85 degrees with no chance of rain when the green flag drops. We did see a single practice session, and tire wear was the subject of the day.  Darlington can get some long runs so long run speed is key as well as track position.

At the time of this article, Corey Lajoie is reported to start at the rear after unapproved adjustments. The weather today will be in the Mid 80s with sunshine and a 10% chance of rain for a 3:00pm start.  Start your engines!

NASCAR DFS

I'll be playing in Draft Kings this week. If you're new to the NASCAR DFS world, here's a quick summary of how scoring is done:

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following:

Starting up front and can potentially lead lots of laps.

Good drivers starting farther back can pass many cars and finish with a strong differential.

Drivers starting up front I like:
Martin Truex, Jr, Kyle Larson

Drivers with great differential potential and could lead laps:
Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick

Drivers with great differential points, and possible top finishes:
Ty Gibbs, Austin Cindric

Most likely to be chalk plays:
Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson

It will be very tough to beat the chalk of Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson this week, but the notable starting position of Daniel Suarez and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr can help go against the grain and save some salary, as short, flat tracks are their better tracks on the circuit.

Race Winner  Kyle Larson
Best Bet for a solid finish Ross Chastian, Martin Truex, Jr
Dark Horse Differentiators Ricky Stenhouse, Jr, Austin Cindric

My DFS Line-up Today:

Top 3 Prop bets: Brad Kesolowski +800

Bet MGM Denny Hamlin +1100 outright

NASCAR Fantasy Live:

After a solid Kansas last week, I'm looking to build a little momentum. Here's who I have in my NASCAR Fantasy Live Pool this week:

One-and-done Games:

Last week Noah Gragson knocked us back a bit with a 29th-place finish.  This week will be a tougher week with needing to hit a better starting position in with tire wear and track position.  I'm taking Harrison Burton this week. Burton has a decent track record here at Darlington and is starting 14th, making him a solid play in "One and Done" leagues. Other drivers that could show well are Ricky Stenhouse, Jr and Daniel SuarezKyle Larson is a good choice if you're way behind.

If you are interested in playing any of these games, sign up before the green flag drops at 12:00 pm EST Monday at the links below:
